Saturday 16 March during the 2nd Pruner Festival organized by Simonit&Sirch (master vine pruners) in Castelnuovo Berardenga (SI), our kids registered for the competitions distinguished themselves by climbing onto the podium after being judged by Simonit&Sirch technicians and international experts of pruning.
The competitions took place in the vineyard of the San Felice farm, leader in Chianti Classico and saw around a hundred participants from Italy, England and Spain. 1st and 3rd place in the "Team Pruning Competition" respectively for Marco G., Nikolas M., Marco C. and Giovanni P. , Emanuele G., Michele M. who faced a hard-fought and passionate relay against 9 others teams made up of 3 arborists each and 9th place in the "Individual Pruning Competition" for Nikolas M. , who competed against 60 other arborists.
An excellent result for our territory which has a great winemaking tradition and for our team which has been applying the Simonit&Sirch Pruning Method with passion and dedication since 2012.
