The great amount of 280,000 euro to charity for ROYAL OPERA HOUSE FOUNDATION thanks to Ornellaia. During the Gala evening at the Royal Opera House in London Sotheby's, the eight special large-format bottles with serigraphy by Ornellaia 2010 were auctioned for record amounts of money.
The 25 years of Ornellaia were celebrated with an ad hoc serigraphy: '25th Anniversary '. Moreover, Ornellaia has commissioned Michelangelo Pistoletto to work on a limited and numbered series of large-formats on the theme of 'Celebration': 100 bottles Double Magnum (3 liters), 10 bottles Imperial (6 liters) and a single sample of Salmanazar (9 liters) . 8 bottles were beaten in a charity auction under the auspices of Sotheby's in London.
The proceeds collected and entirely donated to the Royal Opera House Foundation was 282,695 Euro.
