The National Organization of wine tasters at Vinitaly 2015 combines solidarity and passion presenting courses for deaf and blind on the whole national territory.
«Our proposal, which started a few years ago with some courses for the blind and visually impaired, is becoming structured – the Chairman of Onav, Vito Intini, highlights – with the Listen to Wine project. With the
Blind National Union we signed an agreement for the training of our instructors and, a few days ago, we signed a similar agreement with the
Italian Deaf Association».
«I was amazed at what the blind can feel in a glass of wine – Intini says – nuances that we do not perceive. They really have a superior tasting and olfactory sensitivity».
