On Saturday the Final of the Best Sommelier in Tuscany Competition during the Prosecco Wine Festival

The most glamorous event of summer in Versilia is coming soon: the Prosecco Wine Festival, which on Saturday, June 28th, from 3:00 p.m., will enliven the Versiliana Park with a special tasting of Prosecco DOC sparkling wine, to be enjoyed along with food products of excellence, in collaboration with the Consortium for the Protection of Montasio Cheese PDO, Pecorino Toscano PDO, Gorgonzola PDO and the Parma Ham PDO, and to experience also with Spazio Fumoir, in which tastings of chocolate, spirits and cigars will be the protagonists.

During the Prosecco Wine Festival, an event organized by AIS Tuscany together with the Consortium for the Protection of the DOC Prosecco, there will be also the final of the Best Sommelier in Tuscany 2014 Competition, that will see ten selected professionals challenge in various delegations, the competition that has already represented in many occasions an important stepping stone in the landscape of national and international challenges. The final with three competitors will be held starting at 5:00 p.m. and will consist of a blind test of recognition of wines, a test of service and a test of communication.
