  • 12/10/2012

From the 6th of October, there is a new seat for the Wine Tourism Movement and will be in Montalcino.

The 1000 MTV meets national Cellars of Italy, and will be located in the Townhall of the Tuscan city.

The new president Daniela Mastroberardino expresses the reasons for the new building and the new course of the Wine Tourism Movement: "Montalcino was one of the first reality in Italy to focus on the combination of travel and wine to grow, making this year in a small area territorial brand known by millions of wine enthusiasts. This shows that the 'wine tourism' system works and can be done by flying to the economic development of the territory, from large organizations to smaller ones. And it is the individual wine cellars, which are the wealth of the Movement, we give special attention to promote a growth of wine tourism as 'lifestyle', through events and initiatives with a strong national character throughout the year, the new media and tools offered by Web 2.0.
