Bortolomiol takes up the challenge and joins Basket Bond Italia

Among the 22 Italian companies to believe in and join the Basket Bond Italia program there is also Bortolomiol , the only winery to invest in the total collection (which amounts to around 100 million) of minibonds in 2022. The project aims to support through alternative finance instruments access to the capital market and investment and development plans for smaller companies, strengthening their competitiveness in Italy and abroad.

The investment macro-sectors will be three. The first, dedicated to sustainability , a theme that has always been dear to the company, with an upgrading of energy efficiency systems for the production of green energy. The second will concern the product with the development of the technology used in the harvest and first vinification phase. While the third will involve process innovation , through the improvement of logistics systems and interchange between the various departments with the aim of having particularly efficient IT support.

Presented last September at the Italian Stock Exchange, the project is promoted by the European Investment Bank (EIB), Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP), Mediocredito Centrale (MCC), Banca Finint, Confindustria Veneto Est and ELITE-Gruppo Euronext .

“Bortolomiol takes up the challenge, with this operation, to realize a further development of growth with investments aimed at improving product quality and production efficiency. – Declares the President Maria Elena Bortolomiol - The goal is to strengthen the identity of the Bortolomiol brand, thus increasing its added value thanks to the enhancement of various company assets, such as energy efficiency and sustainability”.

The historic Valdobbiadene company, which was recently included in the top 500 of the best performing Treviso companies, will benefit from an amount of 2 million euros.
