In the Official Gazette entered into force officially on the 29th of August the Ministerial Decree of 13th August 2012.
The legislative text refers to the DOP, the IGP, traditional terms, labeling and presentation of certain wine sector products. The legislation is now easier and there are some new.
Minister Catania explained that the new rules are intended to protect production and are necessary to protect the excellence of the Italian territory in an appropriate way. The new decree semplifice and recoding the existing laws and was given as a single text of national provisions regarding "labeling and presentation of PDO and PGI wines and other vine products.
