A year after its foundation, the Nascëtta Producers Associations of the Novello Municipality reaffirms its commitment to the protection and promotion of the native Piedmontese white grape variety.
Novellola Nas–cëtta started to be rediscovered in the mid-nineties thanks to the efforts of some winemakers, including Elvio Cogno and the brothers Mauro and Savio Daniele of Le Strette, whose pioneering production has contributed actively to both studies done on the vine and on its attitudes, and to the process for the regulatory framework.
The Vine is semi–aromatic and is presented with an important structure and acidity levels, which give the wine a good aging capacity ensuring a long–lived and dynamic aromatic evolution in taste and body.
