Already 14,000 young people have downloaded "Pure Adrenaline", the Ministry of Health's application against alcohol abuse by young people between 14 and 25 years old.
The digital project is part of many Ministry initiatives to combat problems related to alcohol abuse such as raising the ban on the sale of alcohol from 16 to 18 years, and the tightening of sanctions for offending retailers.
The Ministry presented data for which 14.5% to 16.9% in the 14-17 age group and from 33.7% to 41.9% in the 18-24 age group.
The "Pure Adrenaline" app is free and can be found on iTunes. There are three sections
In the first, it is possible to roughly calculate the alcohol level by crossing one's data on sex and size with the alcohol doses consumed.
In the second, kids can play a quiz about music and alcohol consumption.
Third section has music playlist of 20 songs.
A competition with Sony Music Italia was added to the "Adrenalina pura" project: the guys who downloaded the application, answered the quiz and registered, won 15 concert tickets from Sony artists.
The Testimonials of the competition were I Moderni, a band released by X Factor.
