After the success of 2013 the vintners from Emilia and Mantua have the opportunity to participate in the “Matilde di Canossa – Terre di Lambrusco” Wine Competition.
The event – sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry – is dedicated to manufacturers of Lambrusco in the provinces of Reggio Emilia, Modena, Mantua and Parma, to whom is given the opportunity to see rewarded their winning commitment to quality production and, simultaneously, to introduce in the prestigious showcase of the competition their products, which will be presented to the most prestigious international agri–food festivals.
The competition aims to enhance and promote the best production of Lambrusco.
The interested companies have time until Tuesday, May 6th, to subscribe to the new edition of the “Matilde di Canossa – Terre di Lambrusco” Wine Competition. The selection procedure will take place next May from 22nd to 23rd at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce of Reggio in Mancasale.
The competition covers three categories of wine: Lambrusco bubbly wines with designation of origin (PDO), Lambrusco bubbly wines designated with typical geographical indication (PGI) and Lambrusco sparkling wines with designation of origin (PDO).
