Annalisa Linguerri from Emilia Romagna is the Master of Sangiovese 2013. The competition, now in its twelfth year, took place in Faenza in the fascinating International Museum of Ceramics.
The sommelier Annalisa Linguerri passed cleverly all tests: written questionnaire with questions on general knowledge, oenography, communication, tasting of two wines and testing of food and wine pairings, together with technical tests of degustation and settling in theoretical tests of food and wine pairings, with approaches to the table of diners, wine list and communication test, featuring her own tests with innovative and encouraging ideas and demonstrating a deep knowledge of the diversities that the Sangiovese expresses in the territories of greater spread.
The jury is composed of: the President AIS Antonello Maietta, the head of National Contests Cristiano Cini, the President of the Consorzio Vini di Romagna Enol. Giordano Zinzani, the Vicepresident Assoenologi Romagnoli Enol. Maurizio Ortali, Claudia Bondi and the President of AIS Romagna Gian Carlo Mondini.
In second place, the Venetian Ottavio Venditto and in the third place Federico Scarponi from Assisi.
