We will host with great esteem the President of the Veneto Region, Luca Zaia, who has chosen Fasol Menin as the location to present his latest book "Pessimists don't make fortune - The challenge of the future as a choice" to all the participants.

«Whether we like it or not, the events of recent years have imposed a scenario destined to become a watershed between two eras. We can choose to suffer it, delude ourselves of opposing it or decide to govern it".

In this work, with the sincerity and passion that made him one of the most popular and closest to citizens, Luca Zaia obtains indications and ideas to define what still remains to be done on issues that, today more than ever, concern us all up close: the ecological transition, migration, universal rights, effective equality, the new poverties, the relationship with young people, up to the goal of responsible autonomy. With the pragmatism of an administrator and beyond any ideological barrier, Luca Zaia shows that, if changes inevitably confront unknown problems, we must however know how to seize extraordinary opportunities as well. In the testimony of those who never stop believing in the future, an invitation to exercise freedom of choice, not giving in to pessimism, "the last attitude our community needs in the face of the challenges that await it and which are just as tough to those in which it is already engaged". The mediator of the presentation will be the journalist Fabrizio Brancoli, director of popular local newspapers in the Veneto region, supported by the presenter and journalist Giancarlo De Luca.

At the end of the presentation there will be a toast with the Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG from the Fasol Menin winery.
