LIVON: BRAIDE ALTE AMBASSADOR OF COLLIO

They represent a true excellence of Made in Italy and are named after Collio beyond national borders. Those are the Livon wines, products that major airlines and international shipping companies, such as Emirates, Brussels Airlines and Viking Line, have selected for their wine lists.

Many references of high quality that the Friuli–based company, led by Tonino and Valneo, exports in major overseas markets. But the wine of the heart of the Livon family is certainly Braide Alte, made with grapes from vineyards located in the Collio in Ruttars Locality in the municipality of Dolegna del Collio.



A wine that has become over the years an ambassador of the territory, as the successes and the highest awards obtained tell: BRAIDE ALTE 2013 has in effect recently won the Tre Bicchieri of Gambero Rosso 2016, the 5 Grappoli of BIBENDA 2016, the 4 Viti of VITAE of the Italian Sommelier Association. Not only: Braide Alte will be present at the tasting counter of 10th October in Milan during the presentation of the Guida Essenziale ai Vini D’Italia Doctor Wine 2016 by Daniele Cernilli, from which he obtained a score of 92/100. Also the Merano Wine Festival, where Livon has been selected among the 100 best wineries in Italy, will offer for tasting Braide Alte awarded with the Gold Medal.

A wine that bodes well for the future: the 2015 vintage heralds to be at the highest level, thanks to extraordinary climatic conditions, as had not happened for twenty years, with grapes that give great structure and excellent aroma.

Premises are excellent, thanks to which Braide Alte is reconfirmed at the top of the production company signed Livon.
