LIBRANDI STARTS FROM THE TERRITORY: NEW LABELS AND NEW NAME TO PROMOTE AUTHENTIC CALABRIA IN THE WORLD.

After the release of the Segnale Line on the market, the Librandi company completes the restyling of the company labels and marks the transition to the Calabria IGT name. At the center of the work is the enhancement of microterritoriality and the Calabrian wine heritage. "We are proud to see the light of this important work - says Paolo Librandi - which completes the rebranding process started with the three new labels designed for the Cirò DOC red, pink and white which symbolize on the label the fruit of a meticulous synthesis than acquired in decades of experience in Cirotano. Now the restyling has involved all the wines of the company and is much more than a simple reinterpretation of the graphics that dress our wines. We have tried to make our commitment and our research evident towards an ever deeper knowledge and understanding of our territory with a view to making this heritage an added value for all of Calabria. " As proof of this, the choice of the winery to emphasize the " Calabria brand " on the label, with the aim of making it even more recognizable in the world of wine and making it become a strength. For this reason the denomination " Calabria IGT " has been adopted - to replace the previous "Val di Neto IGT" - by affixing it on the label for many of the references. "An important choice" explains Raffaele Librandi "dictated by the desire to communicate and promote in Italy and in the world not only our company but the most authentic Calabria and the intrinsic quality that has always distinguished its wines." Particular attention was paid to the company's CRUs, Ephesus, Megonio and Gravello, iconic Librandi wines. The image of the new line - which will be officially released in the autumn - will be characterized by concentric signs which, by adopting a point of view from above of the estate of origin - instead of the boundaries of the denomination - branches out into multiple signs that are gradually more and more concentric. Finally, the attention is focused on the detail of the different vineyards - Vigna Efeso; Vigna Megonio and Vigna Gravello - places of choice for these wines exalted on the label by the use of the foil. A project, the one created by the Calabrian winery, which starts from afar and which recalls the great and meticulous research work that the company has taken on since the beginning of its history. Proof of this is the varietal garden that rises inside the Rosaneti estate which has over 200 regional grape varieties arranged in a vineyard with a characteristic spiral shape and inside which pre-harvest samples and comparative company micro-vinifications were carried out. A constant and scrupulous commitment by Librandi, to testify to the strong and indissoluble bond of the family for their land, always aimed at enhancing the most authentic and sincere identity of Calabria in its wines.
