The Club Excellence webinar for the Italian wine chain

Monday 29 June Club Excellence organizes a webinar to give voice to the various rings of the wine sector. A constructive dialogue to try to interpret the current market scenario.

(Olgiate Molgora, 24 June 2020) After the complete lockdown phase involving the whole country, the many protagonists who work along the supply chain of the wine world are trying to start again with strength and determination. The crisis, caused by the health emergency caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, has affected both those who work in the world of production and, along the entire wine chain, those who deal with distribution, retail and catering.

" The slow reopening by most of the activities in this sector, after about 90 days of lockdown which has dramatically affected all the activities related to catering and the sale of wine, urgently needs the contribution of ideas from all those who operate along the entire supply chain "comments Lorenzo Righi, director of Club Excellence . " Ideas and perspectives, provided by those who work as protagonists in this sector, are fundamental today in this delicate moment of restart. We need cohesion, sharing of intentions and a sense of responsibility ".

These are the premises that prompted Club Excellence, a reality that brings together 18 of the most important players in Italy in the distribution and import of fine wines and spirits, to organize the webinar "Let's start together, ethically" at 9.30 on Monday 29 June will see some of the most authoritative voices in the sector discuss the most pressing issues at the moment for the wine market.

Moderated by the journalist and food and wine critic Antonio Paolini , will be attended by Carlo Cracco (Chef Patron of the Cracco restaurant), Luca Cuzziol (Sole administrator of Cuzziol Grandi Vini, primary distribution and import company associated with Club Excellence), Antonello Marzolla (general secretary Usarci - Union of Italian Trade Agents and Representatives), Andrea Terraneo (President of Vinarius, Association of Italian Wine Bars), Maurizio Zanella (President and Founder of Ca 'Del Bosco).

" We are certain that the comparison and dialogue between leading players in the wine supply chain - concludes Righi - like those that the Club Excellence has decided to involve, will be a useful opportunity to try to understand, all together, how to start again , with confidence and renewed cohesion between the sectors ".
