The GAL Arneo Land promoted the first International Journalism Award "Terre del Negroamaro" The award aims to enhance Negroamaro, the most important grape of Salento, to give visibility to producers of wine, oil and other culinary excellences in the area of the LAG Arneo Land. Moreover, it intends to promote an area of Salento of great environmental, landscape and cultural value.
The competition is for journalists from the national and international press and TV who will have to bring out the peculiarities and the tourist vocation of the area enhancing products (raw, processed materials and/or used restaurants products) and, consequently, companies, catering companies, and accommodation facilities located in the area of the LAG Arneo Land.
Articles and reports published between 25 May and 31 July 2013, that enhance the tourist vocation of the Salento area, can compete. The pieces must be received by 2 August.
