- 7 Italian PGIs cancelled: the official request has been sent to the EU

The Ministry of Agriculture has forwarded to Brussels the request for the cancellation of seven Protected Geographical Indications (PGI) for wine. A decision that, in addition to the technical aspect, brings with it reflections on the competitive positioning of Italian wine and the sustainability of the denominations.
