'Il vino, un gesto d'amore'. The book by the President of Consorzio Vini Doc San Colombano

Presented at Palazzo Isimbardi, the volume "Il vino, un gesto d'amore" by Diego Bassi, president of the "Consorzio tutela vini doc San Colombano" in the presence of the Province of Milan's President, Guido Podestà, and of the councilor for Agriculture Luca Agnelli.

The book is an informative guide that chronicles the activities of thirty winegrowers involved in the Consortium. It was written on the occasion of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the association and illustrates the areas related to wine production (San Colombano, Miradolo, Graffignana, Inverno e Monteleone), places in which tradition and culture intertwine harmoniously with the history of 10 farms ("Andronio Ignazio ',' Antonio Panigada", "Stefano Bossi"
"Casa Valdemagna", "Gruppo Vignaioli ',' Giuseppe Guglielmini," "Nettare dei Santi"

"It is a great idea, the one of publishing a volume which collects evidences, history and traditions that turn around an excellence recognized throughout the country - said Podestà -. The effort of the Administration together with the Consortium should be conceived in the context of protecting a brand that, waiting for Expo, will play a crucial role. Effectively, the visibility provided by the 2015 edition of the event will ensure to a product of well-known quality the exposure it deserves, in order to reward the work of our winegrowers. I would like to emphasize that, the wine, thanks to the contribution of the Province of Milan, will participate in "Vinitaly", presenting in the occasion the best sparkling and still wines and the reserve of territory.
