Riccardo Monti president of the new Ice Agency: we await what he will do for the international jewel of Italian Wine.
"The institutional bodies of the former Ice have lapsed following the suppression of the body with L.111 of July 15, 2011". But with a decree of Giorgio Napoletano - following a resolution of the Council of Ministers on the proposal of Corrado Passera - on April 18 the new commission of the Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian companies was appointed.
On April 30, the highest position was finally appointed: it is Riccardo Monti: 44 years old, with a degree in economics, specializations at Columbia University and Brooklyn Polytechnic in New York. he served as executive director of the Value Partners Group and worked with corporations and governments in over 30 countries.
The new ICE Agency is now fully active on its objectives. coordinate the strategies and instruments of internationalization of the country system, improve export and growth abroad of Italian companies and attract foreign investments.
We are waiting to see how it will move for Italian wine, which is already an excellence abroad but on which we can focus further.
