I am DONATELLA

This Brunello is the fulfilment of the dream of Donatella Cinelli Colombini, the dream of a winery of women, the Casato Prime Donne in Montalcino.

Brunello IOsonoDONATELLA is the conclusion of 18 years of patient work, since, in 1998, Donatella took over two parental estates.

IOsonoDONATELLA is therefore a Brunello masterpiece that will be produced only in great vintages, such as the current 2010 (5 stars) celebrated worldwide for its excellence.

Donatella has set her seal on the wine, as if to say, once again, "IO sono DONATELLA" (I am DONATELLA). Even the box containing the bottle, designed with all the graphic project by Giuditta Parisi – Archimedia, is a piece of personal history: in effect, the outer surface reproduces the Pienza cloth, an ancient fabric with small diamonds that is visible in the Maestà (1311) by Duccio di Buoninsegna, the most famous and celebrated masterpiece of the Siena art.

IOsonoDONATELLA also becomes the hashtag #iosonodonatella that, since early December, will feature images of wine and more. To say, "Donatellas of the world unite" because all contributions linked to this name and not just references to wine are welcome. Wine, people, objects...
