HISTORY OF WHITE WINES IN THE GLASS

  • 10/11/2021

# VINO & TERROIR talks about historical white wines. In five webinars we will tour Italy, from Friuli Venezia Giulia to Veneto, from Piedmont to the Marche

Who said that white wines are mainly suited to the warm season? If we are dealing with “historical” whites, who have been able to evolve over time and rely on a complexity that is enriched over the years, then the matter changes.

For this ONAV will dedicate the # VINO & TERROIR cycle, starting on Monday 22 November in collaboration with the Consorzi di Tutela Roero, Custoza, Vini Collio, Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Verdicchio, creating a virtual tour of Italy whose stages will be joined by a "fil blanc ".

The protagonists will be the Roero Arneis (22 November), the Custoza (29 November), the Collio wines in their various expressions (6 December), the Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG (13 December) and the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi (20 December ).

Taking part in the # VINO & TERROIR meetings is easy : open to associates and non-members, enthusiasts and those who want to get closer to the world of wine, they allow you to follow the evenings directly from home, on time after work . Each cycle of meetings is made up of a series of didactic seminars; each appointment will include an in-depth part of the protagonist denomination, by the representatives of the various Protection Consortia, and a tasting led by an ONAV teacher.

This cycle dedicated to historical whites will be associated with 20 wines, whose relative samples, in miniatures of 50 mL each, will be sent directly to the home of the participants at the time of registration. For those who are not yet associated with ONAV, it will be possible to do so at the time of joining.

Last places available. For more information on appointments and registration procedures:
