For the celebrations of the 250th birthday of the Hermitage in St. Petersburg they will toast with the Amarone by Allegrini.
So Marilisa Allegrini tells about it: «It all started because the Russians are very fond of Italy and its wines, as well as the head of the Italian part of the Hermitage, Irina Artemieva. In celebrations, in February, there will be also many important institutional delegations, and so they tried to represent a prestigious red wine of Italy, and we were lucky enough that the choice has fallen on our Amarone. And for us of Allegrini, who are more and more into the world of art, not only with the experience of the Guggenheim, but also with the many events held at Villa della Torre, this seemed an opportunity to further strengthen this bond. Also because we think that living in a world full of culture and art is more beautiful. And then, even wine is part of a culture, perhaps with the small “c”, if near to certain art masterpieces, but anyway it represents a territory and tells a story».
