Nizza DOCG, the goal is success: the Consortium has approved the new specifications for the ’super Barbera’
The new Nizza DOCG wine has been created. This is the initiative of the Shareholders’ Meeting of the Asti and Monferrato Wines Consortium, which unanimously approved the renewed discipline of the ’super Barbera’.
The current production is of about 200 thousand bottles in 44 wineries, the goal is to reach one million by 2015. The export share of Nizza is 46%.
