On 3rd November in Venissa the presentation of the new book by Carlo Petrini “Cibo e Libertà: storie di gastronomia per la liberazione” took place.

The presentation by Carlo Petrini took place in the historic estate of Venissa, in the archipelago of Native Venice, a place full of charm and culinary traditions that have their roots in the historical heart of the most famous lagoon in the world.
Also “The cuisine of Venissa has a strong link with the Slow Food philosophy: to educate to taste and to safeguard the natural and traditional elements” – chef Antonia Klugmann – “The seasonality and the vegetable elements are the main ingredients and the founding ingredients of our dishes. Love for natural things, water, gardens and orchards is with us in the choice of the raw materials to be used”.
