GRAZIANA GRASSINI AND DI SIPIO: TOGETHER TO PROMOTE ABRUZZO

The goal will be to express the potential of a region that still has much to offer, with wines ranging from Metodo Classico to Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.

A collaboration born from the encounter between the sensitivity of winemaker Graziana Grassini and the vision of entrepreneur Nicola Di Sipio to promote Abruzzo wines. From this harvest onwards, Di Sipio wines will bear the signature of Graziana Grassini, who will bring her experience to the winery to interpret, for the first time, a region with great potential.

"I found an enlightened entrepreneur open to new visions, and a group of wonderful people, first and foremost his son Paolo. Teamwork is, in fact, an essential prerequisite for creating a solid relationship ," says Graziana Grassini. " My goal will be to work on the region's iconic grape varieties, Montepulciano and Trebbiano, but also to interpret the Metodo Classico, which Nicola Di Sipio, one of the first in Abruzzo, decided to produce from the very beginning ." The Di Sipio winery is located in Ripa Teatina, a privileged location that benefits from the influence of the Adriatic Sea on one side and the Maiella massif on the other. These conditions create the perfect conditions for the development of aromas and polyphenolic substances, the basis for the wine's freshness and longevity.

" The aim is to create a strong identity, studying the territory and remaining faithful to the characteristics of each individual grape variety. In particular, attention will be paid to Trebbiano, in which I believe deeply, as well as, of course, Montepulciano, Pecorino, Falanghina, and the other cultivated varieties."

Di Sipio was founded in the early 2000s and, from the beginning, chose a path against the grain. " In a winemaking landscape focused almost exclusively on Montepulciano and Trebbiano, we began with the Metodo Classico: it's the wine of emotions, the one that accompanies every moment of life—when you celebrate, when you seek lightheartedness, when you need to rediscover a smile."

In Graziana, we found much more than a great winemaker. We met someone capable of listening and interpreting our vision with authenticity. It was her human depth, even more than her extraordinary expertise, that made us realize that our journey could intertwine with hers. >> Nicola and Paolo Di Sipio state.

To taste the wines resulting from this collaboration, we will have to wait some more time, but anticipation is high and the prospects are excellent, thanks to a very interesting 2025 harvest.
