GRANT INCENTIVES FOR TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION OF AGRICULTURAL COMPANIES

The measure is aimed at agricultural enterprises, fishing enterprises and agro-mechanical enterprises, active for at least two years at the date of submission of the application. The application must be forwarded to ISMEA . The times and methods for submitting applications will be available shortly.

The provision contemplates a percentage paid out as a non-refundable grant according to the following table:

o Up to €100,000 of 75% o From €100,001 to €200,000 of 65% o From €200,001 to €300,000 of 55% o From €300,001 to €500,000 of 45%

The investments in technological innovation envisaged by the decree must be of no less than €70,000 and no more than €500,000. For the fishing sector, the minimum limit is reduced to €10,000.

The costs for the purchase of:

• Machines, tools and equipment for agriculture and in particular robotic solutions, sensors, platforms and infrastructures 4.0 for saving water and reducing the use of chemicals;
• Non-road mobile machinery for agriculture and animal husbandry and in general Animal husbandry machinery; Agricultural Tractors; Investments for fishing and aquaculture.

Eligible goods must be brand new. Investments cannot be made before the application submission date. The interventions will be implemented with a desk procedure and the applications will be examined by ISMEA according to the chronological order of presentation.

Cumulatively, for the same investment purpose, the Agricultural and Fishing Companies can benefit from the ordinary ISMEA guarantee, up to 80% of the value of the Bank Loan to complete the sum necessary for the total investment. The contribution to the Lost Fund will be disbursed in a single solution , on a current account held exclusively in the name of the beneficiary or directly to the supplier of the purchased goods.
