Grand Prix Alfiere del Prosecco Carpen - the final on 26th May

Carpenè Malvolti has scheduled the final Grand Prix of the Alfiere del Prosecco Carpenè 2013.


The competition was organized in collaboration with the Italian Sommelier Association and has the purpose of electing the face of the Carpenè Malvolti sparkling wines of Conegliano for next year.

The Grand Prix Alfiere del Prosecco Carpenè 2013 is a unique opportunity for under 35 to have a place in the Olympus of Italian Sommeliers.
The competition aims to enhance the profession and and to identify new figures to address in the communication sector of the wine, in particular in the dissemination and promotion of a grape and a territory characterized by strong values ​​and traditions.

After the election of Andrew Bravaccini in 2012, the team of under 35 sommeliers from all over Italy, candidates to take over from him, is preparing for a competition to last bubble. It will be played in two stages: the semi-final, on Sunday morning, 26th May, at the Wine School of Conegliano and the final, in the Carpenè Malvolti company, from 3:00 p.m., in conjunction with the Open Wineries event.

Objective of the Grand Prix Alfiere del Prosecco Carpenè is to identify a young sommelier, strictly under 35, who with his/her fresh and professional image represents the Prosecco DOCG in the world not only as a product, but also as a concept of a new way of drinking, casual, of quality, glamour and especially suitable in every situation. Particularly important will be the proof that finally will put the competitors in front of a camera, evaluating their communication skills.
