The Classic Method line from pure durella grapes from the Lessini Mountains, so far characterized by the aging time on the lees, now brings the attention to the denomination, the sugar dosage and the vintage. "Since 2013 Lessini Durello has been one of the pillars of our production - explains Gianni Tessari , owner of the company from Roncà (Verona) - In this initial phase, among the first of the denomination, we used the numbers on the label with reference to the months of aging on the lees, choosing to communicate the extraordinary potential of Durello Metodo Classico through its ability to defy time, which allows aromas and flavors to perfect their delicate balance. Often for the consumer this feature was not taken for granted, indeed it was sometimes unknown. We therefore worked to consolidate the importance of time in evolution. Today, having reached the goal, we feel the need to take a step forward: our Lessini Durello continue, and always will, to rest on the lees for at least three years, but we find it binding to harness the evolution of wine to a period of aging. established a priori. We want to have the freedom to release it when we deem it appropriate, that is, once it has reached its best expression - in our opinion - also avoiding the consumer having to use the calculator during tasting to check the information on the label ". The graphic of the label also changes , showing not only the company name but the entire logo, including the image of the church of Brognoligo di Monteforte d'Alpone, the birthplace of Gianni Tessari. At the center are the denomination, the name of the wine and the vintage for the reserves, while the indication of the sparkling wine making method is the frame.
