Getting married in a winery is more and more trendy: many foreigners, especially Americans, choose Italy as location for their marriage.
To say this, the specialized Italian agency "Wine and Wedding" who has recently participated in the New York Weddings Event, one of the most important fairs of the sector: to fulfill dreams spa treatments with wine for brides and grooms or helicopter rides over the vineyards are offered.
The destinations chosen by foreigners are: The Langhe, Franciacorta, Montalcino, Chianti, but also the territories of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Aglianico in Campania, and Sicily.
The cost of one of these marriages for the Americans is around 75,000 Euros. This means business for the world of wine.
