Matà is the new sparkling rosé wine of Villa Matilde

Villa Matilde presented at Vinitaly Matà, the first sparkling wine signed Villa Matilde, a rosé made ​​from 100% grapes of the most noble vine native of Campania, made with classic method.

«Much of our work – Salvatore Avallone, owner with his ​​sister Maria Ida of Villa Matilde, told – consists of the search for viable tools for the enhancement of our great wine heritage. Our vines, our history deserve new forms. For this reason we decided to invest in this project, because we believe that even from Campania, and from major varietals such as Aglianico, interesting sparkling wines may arise. And we hope that Matà can become one of them».

The wine has a light pink color, with fine perlage, Matà opens in tasting with hints of red fruits accompanied by pleasant floral notes. At the palate it is fresh and of good thickness with a wrap and silky finish, perfect as an aperitif, versatile throughout the meal.
