FRANCO PACENTI DI MONTALCINO PRESENTS ROSILDO

Sincere wines, faithful to the vintages and to their own territory of origin, the result of the perfect combination between people and their land. This is the stylistic signature that characterizes the wines of the Franco Pacenti Company , located in the Canalicchio area, in one of the most suitable areas of the Brunello di Montalcino denomination. Exceptional witness of the wines that can be born from this land is the new Rosildo , the latest addition to the Pacenti family but destined to become the company's flagship wine . "Our new wine - says Lorenzo Pacenti, born in 1990, today at the helm of the company - establishes and consolidates the thread that unites the men and women who have been part of the history of our family. Its grapes come from the last vineyard planted by grandfather Rosildo and the first vintage in which it was produced, 2015, coincides with my first official harvest " . The new top wine comes from fine Sangiovese grapes and is dedicated to Rosildo Pacenti, born in 1924, a pioneer of the family business, who has always believed strongly in the potential of the vineyards of these lands. The fruit of a patient aging in 10 hectolitre French oak barrels, "Rosildo" is an iconic wine for the Pacenti family. The grapes in fact come from the Vigna della Creta, a vineyard planted by Rosildo Pacenti, which takes its name from the clay soil in which it grows and which has unique soil and climatic characteristics. "Rosildo" is therefore the identity of a territory, the DNA of a family, but at the same time recalls the passage of the witness that took place between the three generations of the Pacenti. The founder of the company is Rosildo Pacenti, but it is his son Franco who gives the winery its name. Not a random choice, as the intention has always been to put the human factor of wine at the center, in the idea that a strong link with the territory in which it is made and the ability to respect it to make each bottle truly unique is needed. Today the future is in the hands of the third generation: it is Lorenzo Pacenti, Franco's son, who today gives a new impression to the company, assisted by his sisters Lisa and Serena Pacenti. His is a technical training that is reflected in his choices, always faithful to an agronomic and artisan spirit of wine, with great respect for the terroir. A wine that is a bridge between generations therefore with a look projected to the future of this company that is writing, aware and strong of its renewed identity, a new history of which this wine is the maximum expression. Rosildo is also a story on the label.
