Franciacorta: Maurizio Zanella remains president, here's the line

Maurizio Zanella, confirmed as president but with a completely new board where "women and young people" stand out.

Declared objectives:
- focus on quality with a more selective production specification
-more investments for the protection of the territory and promotion

"I would like to thank the assembly which has shown great consistency and responsibility, as well as for the record turnout, also for having approved the production restriction measures, proposed to further increase the quality level of our wine. The watchword, therefore, is absolute quality. This commitment will help us not to suffer from the market, putting us in a position of competitive advantage for the next few years, to make excellence the track on which to proceed without hesitation, in every situation that the market itself offers us. Currently the Franciacorta production specification is the most stringent at the international level in the relative type of wine (...). This new advice - concludes Zanella - encourages us to continue, with determination and commitment, our task of representing all the many realities that make up Franciacorta wine, also protecting and strongly promoting our precious territory. Without a quality territory, there are no quality products . We will discuss this in the first useful Council together with the programmatic guidelines for the three-year period. Finally, I thank the outgoing directors who have taken a step back to favor our young people, the basic replacement for facing future challenges ".
