The Barolo Docg Castelletto is born from the best Nebbiolo grapes carefully selected and grown on the vineyards exposed in the Castelletto area, the famous cru of Monforte d'Alba for the production of Barolo. Bright ruby red in color with slight orange reflections, it immediately amazes for its great elegance; an elegance that is expressed in the perfect correspondence between the intense fruity notes accompanied by licorice and cinnamon and the deep combination of balance and softness.

The Fortemasso winery, located in Monforte d'Alba in the Castelletto area, is a modern structure that was born in full respect of tradition. The farm consists of 5 hectares of Nebbiolo da Barolo vines that lie between 350 and 450 meters above sea level, with a south / south-east exposure and include both the Castelletto cru and a portion of the Pressenda Historic Vineyard. The chalky, white and dry soils on which the property vineyards grow are capable of giving elegant wines of great finesse.
