It is Florence that has been chosen as the seat of the prestigious Symposium of the Institute of Masters of Wine (IMW). From 15 to 18 May 2014 it will be the Florentine cradle to host the international seminar of the Institute whose theme will be: Identity, Innovation and Immagination in the world of wine.
The venue of the event will be Palazzo dei Congressi in Florence, and the organizational support comes from the Istituto Grandi Marchi with its president, Piero Antinori.
The IMW gathers all the great opinion makers and decision makers of the global wine community in an independent forum that discusses current issues and the future of the sector.
«We will work carefully, so that the content of the Symposium faithfully reflects the chosen themes: identity, innovation and imagination. We are planning three dynamic, interactive and diversified days, with speakers from the wine sector and beyond. It will be a wonderful opportunity to share experiences and exchange views, meeting old friends and making new acquaintances, "said MW Lynne Sherriff, past president of the Instute and chairman of the Florentine Symposium.
