Federvini supports the new Minister Martina

Federvini adheres to the projects of the new Minister for Agriculture: large projects to seize the opportunities of Expo

The statements by the new Minister for Agriculture Maurizio Martina deserved “full adhesion”.

These are the words of Lamberto Vallarino Gancia, President of Federvini.

“The agri–food sector is a key resource for the recovery and development of our country, also with the perspective of the World Expo 2015. We need a comprehensive plan, to which Federvini is ready as of now to contribute with project ideas and concrete actions”.

“The section that Federvini represents, today generates, in a context of declining consumptions, tax returns to over 8 billion € and employs over 1,2 million people and creates a turnover of 40 billion €. We do not ask for support policies, but for a planning to create the conditions in order to make that major events such as Expo and the continued internationalization of markets are opportunities that Italian businesses and producers can capture and play through and through.” Gancia concluded.
