FATTORIA DELLA TALOSA SIGNS THE SUMMER 2023 COCKTAIL

Intense and at the same time refreshing and summery, to be enjoyed after-dinner . Romantico Talosa is a drink dedicated to the hills of Montepulciano, an area where, since 1972, Fattoria della Talosa has been located, a winery producing one of the excellences of the area: Rosso di Montepulciano . Structured but at the same time delicate and endowed with great pleasantness, a Tuscan red that could not fail to be chosen by the bartender Daniele Chiarini to create a cocktail capable of maximizing its characteristics and making the hills where this wine comes to life speak. Linking wine and mixology was a particularly desired choice by the company, led by Edoardo Mottini Jacorossi, to represent the strong desire to continuously innovate and to aim to involve young people as well, intriguing them and bringing them closer to the world of wine with originality. Ingredients to create Romantico Talosa:

• Ice
• Crushed sage at the base
• 5 drops of angostura
• 70 ml Rosso di Montepulciano Fattoria della Talosa
• 30ml red vermouth
• 20 ml of plum juice
• A splash of soda
• 200ml of tonic water
• Garnish with sage on the finish

Fattoria della Talosa The Fattoria della Talosa has been owned by Angelo Jacorossi and his family since 1972. Talosa is one of the first companies in Montepulciano to have embarked on the path of quality that has brought Vino Nobile di Montepulciano to the top of enology Tuscan and therefore Italian. Over the years, in fact, the small cellar has grown a lot and today it is a company that produces excellent wines. The vines of the Fattoria della Talosa extend along 33 hectares of vineyards, in one of the most suggestive and scenic areas of the Montepulciano Cru: Pietrose, at an altitude of 330-400 meters above sea level, with south-west exposure. The oldest Talosa aging cellar is located in the historic center of Montepulciano, in the basement of Palazzo Tarugi and Palazzo Sinatti, built in the first decades of the 16th century opposite the Cathedral of Montepulciano. Entering the Talosa Historical Cellar takes visitors back in time to the Italian Renaissance in the 16th century.
