The Piedmont Winegrowers Association has distributed the report cards of the 2014 Harvest: four stars for the great wines of the Langhe, Barolo and Barbaresco, and for Ruchè, the tiny DOCG produced in only seven municipalities. The year was not positive for the rains, but this has resulted in a production loss of 6.9% compared to 2013: a total of 2 million 401,988 hectoliters.
