«Everything is wrong, everything needs to be redone», is the laconic comment of the MEP of the League and member of the ID group, Gianantonio Da Re, on the farmers' protest, also underway today at the European Parliament in Brussels.
«I am on the side of the farmers - explained Da Re -. With its Euro-madness, Brussels is bringing our producers to their knees and it is unacceptable."
«Is it possible that the same Europe that should support those who work our land instead reaches the point of having to defend itself with barbed wire? - the MEP continued -. I cannot recognize myself in an EU that imposes sanctions on the world of agriculture and in the meantime favors the use of insect meals and synthetic meat. Perhaps the Brussels Parliament should encourage the production of our products and spend less money on bombs."
