Eu: Allergens in the wine label

Since June 30, in the European Union, the obligation to indicate the presence of allergens on the wine label has been activated.

Already since 2005 it was mandatory to indicate the presence of sulfuric anhydride ("contains sulphites"), now wines "obtained entirely or partially from grapes from the 2012 and subsequent harvest and labeled after 30 June 2012", must report if they contain a residue in egg or milk derivatives (albumin and casein) above 0.25 mg / liter (micrograms / liter).
