Erste Neue: Thomas Scarizuola succeeds Andrea Moser

Erste Neue, the historic Alto Adige-Südtirol winery based in Caldaro, and the Kellermeister Andrea Moser , announce that they have decided, starting from Monday 27 March 2023, to conclude their intense and fruitful collaboration, which began in 2014.

The shareholders and the Board of Directors thank Andrea Moser for the great commitment he has carried out every day in all these years and wish him future success in the continuation of his professional career. Andrea Moser, thanks to his decisive contribution in enhancing the wines and the Erste Neue brand, has covered an important part of the long history of the winery, which today is increasingly representative of the Alpine viticulture present on the shores of Lake Caldaro.

" The work done in recent years alongside Erste Neue, starting from 2016, has been not only intense, but exciting and rewarding " declares Andrea Moser, at the end of his career in Erste Neue. " Now, for me, the time has come to measure myself against new challenges. I thank the board and the partners for the opportunity they have offered me over the years ".

The management of Erste Neue announces that the role of Kellermeister will be the oenologist Thomas Scarizuola , who has been part of the cellar team for over 10 years. " It is an honor for me, and an important responsibility, to personally lead this large family of winemakers and translate the values of our territory into wine" says the new Kellermeister, born in Alto Adige-Südtirol in 1989. " My goal is to continue along the path of quality and territorial identity followed up to now, accompanying Erste Neue towards new goals and successes" .
