Equalitas: Riccardo Ricci Curbastro confirmed as president

The Annual Meeting of Equalitas members met in Rome today, Thursday 29 May 2025, to appoint the directors of the new Board of Directors who will remain in office until 2027.

Equalitas is a company whose shares are majority held by Federdoc, Federation of Consortia of Wines with Designation of Origin, the only inter-professional organization existing in Italy in the wine sector, that is, the table around which the agricultural, industrial, cooperative and commercial components of the sector meet to address the problems of denominations by seeking common solutions and ensuring the contribution for the protection and international legal safeguard.

Equalitas is the owner of the Standard of the same name, which allows for the certification of the sustainability levels of products, companies and wine-growing territories, as defined by a complex set of requirements, all verifiable and measurable, relating to the 3 pillars (environmental, social, economic) and is structured in such a way as to allow for its certification by a third and independent party, thus defining a certification system compliant with international standards in the field.
