A new space that didn't exist yet where taste intertwines with music, art, history and photography to bring together enthusiasts, the curious and lovers of food and wine. It's ENOLOGISMI , a project strongly supported by Laura Riolfatto, visual artist, sommelier and wine&food stylist , which opens on Saturday 20 January in San Pietro di Castello , a corner of Venice waiting to be discovered, which has maintained its authenticity by escaping mass tourism. A neologism, ENOLOGISMI, which identifies a thought and a new "cultural-oenological" movement.
It starts on January 20th at 11:00 with the inauguration of the photographic exhibition "The aesthetics of suspended time Porto Marghera project" by Andrea Morucchio created in collaboration with the Landscape Museum of Torre di Mosto (VE) . The exhibition project is divided into an exhibition that presents the artist's research work lasting a decade from 2009 to 2019, with a selection of large format photographic prints.
Also on January 20th at 5.30pm , "Spiritual exercises for wine drinkers" will be held, a meeting to present the book written by the journalist Angelo Peretti in conversation with Massimo Zardo and Laura Riolfatto. An event that proposes a contamination between wine, literature and spirituality. During the evening we will talk about wine and life through the tasting of two Italian and two French wines, paired with traditional Italian finger food dishes.
« ENOLOGISMI has the aim of making known, through tasting, tasting, storytelling and photography, some of the Italian food and wine excellences , crossing the identity of the suitable territories , through the companies and people who dedicate themselves every day to the our agriculture to make it ever better ." Says the creator of the project, Laura Riolfatto .
ENOLOGISMI is a space returned to the city thanks to a skilful recovery by Francesco Cucchini , owner of Cantieri Cucchini, and is part of the _docks_ cantieri cucchini , squeri and shipyards built between the 19th and 20th centuries, which have now become splendid exhibition spaces .
From 20 January to 30 March 2024 there will be many events scheduled , from exhibitions to photography courses, from literary or musical tastings to meetings to discover the culture of the table up to vegetarian and vegan cuisine. On February 2nd at 8pm it will be the turn of "Walk on the Wine Side" with Gianpaolo Giacobbo and Massimo Zardo , where the history of Rock will merge with that of natural wines thanks to a tasting where the wines will be paired with vinyl records.
