Edoardo Peduto is the new director of the Consorzio Tutela Lugana DOC

The Consorzio Tutela Lugana DOC officially welcomes the new director, Edoardo Peduto .

A targeted and strategic choice that of the Council, which demonstrates - in a phase of regular growth (almost 28 million bottles in 2022) for the Garda Denomination - its determination, placing a wine manager with solid experience in the wine & food sector at the top .

Born in 1978, studies in marketing and communication, Edoardo Peduto has acquired consolidated experience in international promotion, following a long collaboration first with Vinitaly International, and then with the Grana Padano Consortium. The new Director, in addition to taking care of relations with associates and external bodies, will be committed to consolidating and developing the image, increasing the notoriety of the Lugana brand, both on the national and international market.

“With the entry of Edoardo Peduto, our Denomination is enriched by a high-profile managerial figure, A CORAL choice of the Board of Directors. A Consortium that looks ahead and identifies in the new director the figure of the Wine Globetrotter who will have the main task of coordinating the promotion and growth of the Denomination as well as the operational aspects of the Consortium, the care of relations with associates and relations with institutions external” says the president Fabio Zenato .

The denomination has proved to be in continuous growth in recent years, demonstrating the precious work done both by the members and by the figures within the Consortium for the promotion and enhancement of the same. I will continue the work done to date with the aim of making Lugana increasingly a wine destination : the strengths both in Italy and abroad are undoubtedly the great potential of the Turbiana vine and the unique position on the shores of Lake Garda" explains Edoardo Peduto .

Vinitaly will be the first occasion in which the new director will participate, telling operators and the press about the Consortium's 2023 objectives, which include the theme of wine tourism and valorisation on the Italian market.
