With over 86 million euros of managed turnover and 35 million bottles marketed , Edoardo Freddi International, the leading Italian export management company in the wine sector, closes 2023 with growth of 6% : a constant trend - although not double-digit as the previous years – which has not stopped since 2012, the year of its foundation
<<2023 was a particularly complex year, characterized by many unknowns such as inflation, world conflicts, the logistical crisis and climate change. However - comments Edoardo Freddi , founder of the company of the same name - we never got discouraged and continued to put our maximum effort into every activity. Despite the adversities, we can say that 2023 ended on a positive note for EFI .>>
Demonstrating constant development, 2024 starts with a prestigious collaboration for Edoardo Freddi International: the partnership with Lady Amarone, Marilisa Allegrini , an icon in the world of wine and renowned producer of quality wines. This collaboration marks an exciting chapter for both companies; the objective is to spread the best of Italian oenology on an international scale and jointly activate even more important projects with Villa Della Torre , a super premium winery in Valpolicella managed together with his daughters Carlotta and Caterina. The villa, located in Fumane, is a jewel of the Italian Renaissance and today, in addition to the winery, it hosts a Wine&Art Relais. The wine project is based on the valorisation of a terroir with a strong identity and great winemaking vocation: Valpolicella. To complete the picture of the partnership, there will also be the Tuscan estates, Poggio al Tesoro and San Polo .
Edoardo Freddi states: “We are thrilled to start this collaboration with Marilisa Allegrini, an excellence in the Italian wine scene. His passion and dedication to producing extraordinary wines fits perfectly with our mission to bring the best Italian wines to the world. We are confident that this synergy will deliver exceptional results and offer a unique tasting experience to consumers across the globe.” Marilisa Allegrini adds: “This collaboration represents a new departure for us in spreading the beauty and excellence of our wines beyond national borders. We share the same vision of quality and authenticity, and we are eager to see where this partnership takes us."
The objective in the coming months of Edoardo Freddi International (which today has 50 wineries ) is to further increase the number of collaborations, with a particular focus on producers of fine wines , who have made the history of Italian oenology and which represent an experience unique for connoisseurs and enthusiasts.
In addition to being the founder of the company of the same name, Edoardo Freddi is CEO of FreedL Group , a group specialized in investments in assets and companies operating in the beverage sector, which holds 100% of EFI and the majority of the capital of Veraison Group Spa, which in turn owns, among other things, 100% of the capital of Salvaterra , one of the main players in Valpolicella. Edoardo Freddi then promotes the best Italian spirits in the world through Sapiens Spirits and offers a tailor-made service to support Italian wineries in their growth on the national territory through Pergola and Vini al Cubo.
