Eataly in Florence for the Renaissance

  • 18/12/2013

Eataly opens its doors in Florence: the Florentine store is dedicated to the Renaissance.

The location has three floors with a total of 2000 square meters.

The successful format of the chain is always the same: to buy, eat and learn.

To inaugurate the new seat, the secretary of the Democratic Party, Matteo Renzi, and the creator and founder of Eataly Oscar Farinetti.

The store means work for 100 young people, promoting the gastronomic specialties of Eataly and an interesting museum path dedicated to the Renaissance.

Ground Floor:

A selection of typical Tuscan products, bookshop, ice cream parlor, a great bar, patisserie, and a series of “thematic restaurants”.

First Floor:

The first floor continues the offer of books, which shares space with “Osteria del Vino Libero”, an area dedicated to the purchase of great wines and beers, a prestigious scenic terrace, and the “Da Vinci” gourmet restaurant, led by the young chef Enrico Panero.

Second Floor:

Three classrooms: “Eatinerari”, “Rinascimento” and “Del Vino”, where, in February, courses in nutrition education for children and adults will start.
