DOC Colli Berici and Vicenza a 2020 full of successes

The wines of the Consorzio Tutela Vini Colli Berici and Vicenza make their way among the most appreciated nationally and internationally. The two DOC Vicenza wines can in fact boast awards this year to seven local wineries , celebrated in Italy by the Gambero Rosso , Slow Wine and Luca Maroni wine guides and abroad by the prestigious English magazine Decanter , in addition to the Grenaches du Monde competition, which took place in September in Montpellier, France. "The commitment of the Consortium in presenting the wine excellences of this territory to the world is bearing fruit - comments Giovanni Ponchia, Director of the Consorzio Tutela Vini Colli Berici and Vicenza - The results obtained this year by DOC wines are a further confirmation of the excellent work of our members and they confirm that the path we are following is the right one ". Among the wineries awarded Dal Maso Vini , which received two important awards: the gold medal in the Grenaches du Monde competition for its Colpizzarda Tai Rosso 2017 and the 90 points of Decanter at the Montemitorio Tai Rosso 2017 . The English magazine also awarded 92 points to Giannitessari's Tai Rosso 2018 and 91 points to Cavazza's Cicogna Cabernet 2016 . Among the companies awarded by the Italian 2021 wine guides we find Inama , which can boast the prestigious Tre Bicchieri won by the Carminium 2016 and the recognition among the Top Wines of Slow Wine awarded to the Carmenere Più 2017 . The same award also went to Pegoraro's Tai Rosso 2019 , while Le Pignole's Torengo Tai Rosso 2015 won the crown from Vini Buoni d'Italia. The scores obtained by Luca Maroni's guide for the Cielo e Terra company are also excellent, including 97 points at the Defra Riserva Rosso 2017 .
