The farm Chiusa Grande in the province presented D'Eus, the first organic sparkling wine of Abruzzo produced with classic method and vinified in two versions, white and rosé.
"The vinosofo d'Abruzzo", Franco D'Eusanio, together with Luca Gardini, explained the genesis of the new sparkling wine tribute to the anticonformistic thinker Gabriele D'Annunzio, in the 150th anniversary of his birth.
The new sparkling wine "is bubbles in a continuous stringcourse - Gardini said - the aftertaste has a pleasant mild bitterness and a good acidity".
In the back label we read: "Tribute to the everlasting pleasantness. Ode to the contemplated inspiration. Gift to those who appreciate the enigmatic anti-conformism. D'Eus ... a poem to the slow spending of time. It is a Classical Method Sparkling Wine finely aged on the yeasts. A long wait ... rewarded with brilliant color, crisp fragrance of mint, with fine and astonishing perlage, that caresses the palate with the delicacy of a butterfly. D'Eus ... superb and heavenly challenge, homage to D'Annunzio: 'memento audere semper'.
D'Eus, the first organic classical method sparkling wine in Abruzzo, will be commercially available from this week.
