The two Doc Custoza protection consortia in Bardolino have signed a six-monthly agreement with the brand new Italian airline Livingston
The Bardolino and the Custoza will be on the international tourist routes of the Livingston airline. Until June there will be a joint venture between the Bardolino and Custoza protection consortia and the new Italian airline.
Officially the company has chosen Custoza as white wine and Bardolino as red, in the business class there will be a wine list with Custoza Spumante and Bardolino Chiaretto Spumante as an aperitif and then a selection of Custoza and Bardolino labels.
"We believe it is the first time ever - says the president of the Consorzio del Custoza, Carlo Nerozzi - that an entire wine area such as that of the hills between Verona and Garda is presented in a unified manner to a public of great interest such as it is that of those who love to travel ".
"We will have the opportunity to make our wines known - adds the president of the Bardolino Consortium, Giorgio Tommasi - to about ten thousand people, an audience that presents a high potential for our territory and our docs".
"This is a good opportunity for promotion - Tommasi concludes - to a target that certainly represents a point of reference for the wines that are born on the morainic hills of Garda, and also, why not, a sort of invitation to visit our territory to a holiday dedicated to wine tourism ".
