COSMOFOOD CONTINUES TO GROW: 20% PRESENCES MORE

Success in particular for the section dedicated to catering equipment.

Mauro Grandi: «next year there will be three pavilions»



At Vicenza Cosmofood ended, the show dedicated to food, wine, beer, equipment, organic, vegan and gluten free. 36,000 presences in four days with a 20% increase compared to 2014. «Numbers that would have been even higher – Mauro Grandi, director of the event, explains – if the weekend did not open with the tragic news from Paris that influenced the programs of all of us. However, the quality of the audience present has grown a lot, who has shown great interest in the 350 exhibitors and participation in all the events offered».

This year for the first time Cosmofood was organized in two pavilions, with a space entirely dedicated to technology and catering equipment. «The professional audience responded enthusiastically – Grandi continues – flocking to the stands already since Saturday and constantly until Tuesday evening. We already have a list of 30 new companies that have registered themselves for next year: in all likelihood the pavilions will become three, of which two dedicated to the professional sector».

Almost sold out the more than 100 events in the program, which was attended by a total of 3,850 people. Crowded all professional meetings, in particular those on marketing and management of catering, a sign of a sector that continues to invest in its own future. The seats in the tasting of wines, beers and spirits flew off, organized by the three associations of tasters involved: Ais, Fisar and Onav. A public that is particularly attentive and interested in vegan and gluten free cooking classes, while the record of participation has been touched by the aphrodisiac cooking workshop organized by the ErosKitchen blog.
