Consumption of wine in the world!

The world that consumes wine in 2040? Relatively growing, but getting older.

The incidence of the over 65s on consumption in the main countries will reach 30%, eroding the shares of the younger groups. Consumption expected to continue to increase in the USA and slow down in China, while the Old World is destined to decline. For Italy, export volumes will increase (23 million hl), but the reduction in internal consumption will make the balance almost nil. A profound reflection on the production structure can no longer be postponed.
